Most carols have one verse that can be repeated as needed. Four carols have two verses, the second of which places the melody in the second part with an obbligato in the first. In this Christmas series, instruments can be mixed and matched. All books are written in the same concert key so that any grouping of players can join together in celebrating the season! Though some carols are in traditional hymnal keys, most vary by a whole step to accommodate the ranges and keys of all instruments in the series. The flute MP3 provides a recording of all pieces. The duet bass part occasionally crosses due to range. The carols and their concert keys are:

Relatively simple, but effective arrangements. Two or three were not properly reviewed for formatting, so there are some strange page breaks (i.e. in one case only two lines of music on a page and then on to page 2?). Also some arrangements use a lot of unnecessary alternative notes i.e. writing an E sharp, when an F would have been appropriate and way easier and logical to play. Use of alto clef in one arrangement when totally unnecessary ( not for a beginner ) I was somewhat surprised by this sloppiness in formatting, as it is a really unprofessional look for a writer or publisher, but these are fun to play over all.
