2 Lieder for alto and piano by Johanna Senfter Voice Solo - Digital Sheet Music

By Johanna Senfter
Alto and piano - advanced to difficult - Digital Download

SKU: S9.Q795945

For alto and piano. Composed by Johanna Senfter. Score. Op. 53. Duration 5'. Schott Music - Digital #Q795945. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q795945).

German.

The Lieder op. 53 originally included two more songs which have not been transmitted. Due to the problems of transmission, it is hardly possible to date the work, but the more individual musical language such as the more independent treatment of voice and piano, suggests that it was composed in the early 1920s. The witty style of these transmitted animal songs” with their onomatopoeic effects is sure to have an impact on the audience. The first song Die Nachtigall (The Nightingale) was also arranged for voice, flute and piano by Senfter herself and is being published simultaneously (ED 24001).
