Copyright Material for Preview Only - Sheet Music Plus
Treble recorder (flute, oboe, violin) and basso continuo; harpsichord (Pianoforte), cello (viola da gamba) ad libitum - easy to intermediate - Digital Download
SKU: S9.Q5225
Composed by Godfrey Finger. This edition: Sheet music. Original Music for Recorder. Fingers Sonaten sind musikalisch ebenso reizvoll wie die des Daniel Purcell. Die spieltechnischen Anforderungen sind bei beiden Komponisten etwa gleich gering. Score. Schott Music - Digital #Q5225. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q5225).
These recorder sonatas by Gottfried Finger have been copied from an edition by the London publisher John Walsh. They are pretty pieces, very similar in form and invention to the recorder sonatas of Daniel Purcell (cf. ED 3693 and 4732) and from the same period. They are, moreover, just as charming and just as easy to play.
