Het is vooral de bedoeling het te gebruiken als aanvulling bij verschillende andere methodeboeken. Sommige van deze studies zijn zelfs bruikbaar als solowerkjes bij examens of wedstrijden.Ze werden geschreven met de bedoeling 'leuke' hulpmiddeltjes te zijn bij enkele moeilijkheden als AANZET, ARTICULATIE, KLANK, LIPBINDINGEN, SPRONGEN, CHROMATIEK, LEGATO, ZINSBOUW (met vooral het aanleren van een consequente ademhalingsplaats) en zo meer. Een creatief gebruik van dit boekje is natuurlijk aan te bevelen (wisselende tempi, toevoegen of weglaten van bindingen, veranderen van ritmiek, veranderen van volume, etc.) en laten we over aan de verbeeldingskracht van de gebruiker. This little study book is a small collection for beginning brass students using valve instruments. The eventual purpose is to add this study book to other correct methods. These studies can be used as pure fun or even as examination items. They were written out of my experience as brass teacher to be 'funny' aids for problems as ATTACK, SOUND, LIPSLURS, CHROMATICS, LEGATO, ARTICULATION and MUSICALITY (in sense of the correct placement of the breath place). Be creative using different articulations, rhythm patterns, volumes, velocities, slurring, etc. They can be a start to work in a amusing way towards problem solving situations.
