Arranger’s Note: This has been a classic throwback song for me for some time now, so I figured that I’d give it a shot and some representation in the sheet music world. I happened to come across the Shepard School of Music Remix (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PB5tvYLdx4) and O’Neil Gerald’s harmonizations of the vocal tracks. I wanted to include a bit of each into this, since they are huge parts of the Amerie fanbase and 1 Thing musician’s takes. This song is nostalgic to me since my sisters used to play it back in the 2000s, and I’ve loved it ever since. Shout out to Amerie! By the way, those vocal lines and piano inserts took A LOT longer than I anticipated, but this is well worth the time and patience to create. Thanks for supporting me!
