Chris de Silva is a distinguished composer, arranger, and recording artist celebrated for his profound contributions to sacred music. Originally from Singapore and now based in Los Angeles, California, de Silva's work is globally recognized, with his compositions appearing in hymnals and compilations worldwide. His music, deeply rooted in faith, combines rich harmonies and accessible melodies, making him a significant voice in contemporary liturgical and choral repertoire.

Chris de Silva holds an impressive academic background, including a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition and Film Scoring from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, a Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology from Loyola Marymount University, and a Doctor of Ministry from Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
He currently serves on the campus ministry team at Loyola Marymount University as the Associate Director of Music and Liturgy, actively engaging with young adults in their spiritual and musical journeys.
