The Rolling Stones, perhaps the most venerable rock’n’roll band in the world, are back with a new single, Doom and Gloom, which you can listen to below:

One of two new songs on the band’s forthcoming greatest hits album, Grrr!, the single is hard and surprisingly heavy with a thumping rhythm section backing up the guitars.
Doom and Gloom is set to be released on November 12 and received its first public play by Chris Evans on Radio 2 at 8.15am this morning.
