As an affiliate for this summer’s Forest of Galtres Festival in Crayke, Banks Musicroom York are offering festival goers a 6% discount on ticket sales if they mention the store when purchasing tickets online.
The festival takes place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 of August and is set to be “a feast of fine local produce with 5 genre-defying stages”.
Headliners include Ash, Buzzcocks, Adam Ant, Jon Gomm, Ocean Colour Scene (acoustic), Billy Bragg, Guillemots and Seth Lakemen along with a whole host of emerging and unsigned talents.
Located 12 miles north of York in Cryake, just east of Easingwold, the festival site has improved for 2012 with extra parking, better sighting of camping areas and a new trackway, just in case the worst of the weather decides to show up.
There will also be an array of activities and attractions to enjoy between bands, including a medieval jousting tournament, crafts, storytelling, drama and games.
