“Be Our Musical Christmas” and promote your music at Musicroom Salisbury

Musicroom Salisbury are offering eight local music acts the chance to perform to customers in-store over the busy Christmas period at a number of Be Our Musical Christmas events.
The initiative is designed to give musicians from Salisbury and the surrounding area a platform to promote their own original music and sell merchandise to the crowds at Musicroom Salisbury’s Christmas shopping events.
Acts are encouraged to advertise their own CD’s and other merchandise for sale to festive visitors to Musicroom Salisbury. Artists are of course entitled to 100% of their takings from events and performers will also receive a £10 voucher for their appearance in-store.
Rachel, a member of the team at Salisbury, told the Musicroom blog: “We’re looking forward to eating mince pies and supporting local musical talent this Xmas with our first ever Be Our Musical Christmas events.”
Musicroom Salisbury hope to give local musicians some real, beneficial exposure over the festive period. By encouraging artists from the Salisbury music scene to promote and sell their original music over the festive season it’s hoped that they will raise money as well as awareness for their work.
If you’d like to apply to perform at one of the eight Be Our Musical Christmas events at Musicroom Salisbury then drop your demo into the Catherine Street store by November 10.
