Aloha! Take part in a special Hawaiian ukulele event at Musicroom Exeter

Don’t want your summer to end? Then head down to Musicroom Exeter on September 8 and bring some Hawaiian sunshine, sounds and food into your weekend.
Strum along with a ukulele as you soak up the atmosphere and activities straight out of Honolulu at this unique fun event.

From noon, take part in an exclusive uke workshop with Tricity Vogue, fresh from her appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Players of all abilities can enjoy this interactive workshop session which will include lessons, performances and play-a-longs with the ukulele cabaret star herself. Come along and take part as Tricity leads you from the ukulele basics into a Saturday afternoon jam session.
At 2pm, The Exeter Ukuleles will be performing live in store. Stop by and take in the uplifting exuberance of this passionate club of Uke enthusiasts who play because they love the diminutive instrument and its dulcet tone.
Don’t just hear the sounds of Hawaii, but enjoy a tasty bite of the islands’ cuisine too!
