A Right Royal Affair! At Musicroom Exeter

We are proud and excited to annouce that the Obligato String Quartet will be performing at the Store on Saturday 30th April from 10am – 12pm.
The Obligato String Quartet is based in Devon, UK and was formed in 2008. Current members are Rebecca Willson (Violin/Viola), Emma Clapham (Violin), Ayesha Ichsan (Violin/Viola), Dominic Wolfendale (Violin/Viola), Flora Farquharson (Viola) and Hannah Willson (Cello).
Past events have included many weddings, church and civil ceremonies, evening meals and parties, graduation celebrations, charity events, garden parties and the re-opening of the Northcott Theatre.

Their repetoire contains all the traditional String Quartet repertoire, such as: Pachebel’s Canon, Bach’s Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring and Air on a G String, Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Braham’s Hungarian Dances, Handel’s Water Music and Tchaikovsky’s March from Nutcracker.
In contrast, they also have a number or film and television themes such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Doctor Who, James Bond, Wallace and Gromit and Mamma Mia and well as Tangos, Music from West End Musicals and Traditional Jigs, Reels and Hornpipes.
