A fond farewell and thank you to Alexis from Musicroom Portsmouth

The crew at Musicroom Portsmouth tonight bade a fond farewell to Alexis, the store’s French exchange work experience student who has been a temporary member of the team during his stay in England.

The town of Cholet in Northern France.

Alexis is 18 and lives in Cholet, near Angers in France. He’s a huge music fan and adept guitar player with a love of Toto, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones and U2.
Working within the store team, as part of his duties Alexis has been testing and demoing Portsmouth’s range of BOSS Chorus and effects pedals. As a special thank you gift for all his hard work and enthusiasm, store manager David Courtney, surprised Alexis with a brand new BOSS CE-5 Chorus Ensemble Pedal to take back home and enjoy.
Alexis received a leaving gift of a BOSS Chorus Ensemble pedal!

David spoke to the Musicroom blog about Alexis’ departure:
“It’s been a pleasure working with Alexis over the last 3 weeks. He’s been really helpful and has completed all the tasks we’ve given him well. At this busy time of year, an extra pair of hands has been very welcome too! I think the exchange is a great idea and would definitely take another student as it gives both them and us and opportunity to learn from each other.”
Other members of the team were also impressed by his work and musical ability, citing his creativity, flair and skill as a guitarist. The team at Musicroom Portsmouth have encouraged Alexis to upload his music to Soundcloud and we’ll be sure to update this piece once his tracks are available to hear online.
Au revoir, thank you and all the best in the future Alexis from the team at Musicroom.com and Musicroom Portsmouth!
